Procession set for Corpus Christi
On Sunday, June 6th — the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, known as “Corpus Christi—the Blessed Sacrament will be processed through downtown Fond du Lac beginning at 1:15 p.m. at St. Mary Church. The procession will go from Merrill Avenue to Main Street to Veterans Memorial Park. Parking is available at the church, and those unable to walk the procession route can park at Veterans Memorial Park for the prayer service. Holy Family Catholic Community parishioners are encouraged to join the procession and pray with us as we display Jesus’ body as a sign of our common faith. Families with children who have recently received their First Communion are especially invited to this community celebration, and may even wear the special clothes you choose for the first time you received Jesus in the Eucharist.
