Changes to Weekly Mass Schedule begin this Wednesday

Beginning on May 1, Holy Family’s Weekly Mass Schedule will change, and include the addition of several new Masses. All changes were made with great care and thought to ensure the parish continues to grow spiritually and that Holy Family serves the parish community effectively. Please note that Holy Family will automatically move Mass Intentions for any Masses which are changing times and locations, unless the parish is contacted by those who made the intention.

 

The changes are as follows:
Monday
• 7:00 am at Holy Family (Confessions to follow)
• 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart (Confessions from 11:15-11:45 am)
Tuesday
• 7:00 am at Holy Family (Confessions to follow)
Wednesday
• 7:00 am at Holy Family (Confessions to follow)
• 12:00 pm at Marian – Dorcas Chapel (year-round) (Confessions from 11:15-11:45 am)
• 6:00 pm at Sacred Heart (Confessions at 5:00)
Thursday
• 7:00 am at Holy Family (Confessions to follow)
• 7:00 pm Holy Hour at Sacred Heart Adoration Chapel
Friday
*First Friday Mass will now take place at noon at Sacred Heart*
• 7:00 am at Holy Family (Confessions to follow)
• 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart (Confessions from 11:15-11:45)
• 8:00 pm at St. Mary (Spanish) (Confession/Adoration from 7:00 to 7:45 pm)
Saturday/Sunday
All current Saturday Vigil and Sunday Masses will remain the same.

Altar Server Training now set for this Saturday

This Saturday, all interested or current Holy Family Catholic Community Altar Servers are invited to come to Holy Family’s Altar Server Training from 9:00-10:45 am in Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac. This is for boys and girls in third grade or older who are interested in becoming an Altar Server, or for current Altar Servers who would like a refresher. Please meet in the vesting sacristy at Holy Family Church.

 


 

Scholarship applications are due Friday, May 3, 2024

Time is running out to submit your applications for Holy Family’s Fr. Edward Sippel Scholarship! All applications are due to the Holy Family Parish Office, 271 Fourth Street Way, by noon on this Friday, May 3. Holy Family will give out two $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school students who are confirmed, and who, along with their parents, have been parishioners for at least one year. Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit to come to Holy Family next weekend!

Come to Holy Family Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, next weekend to witness the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist at the Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit, open Friday to Sunday. The exhibit is a self-guided tour of 158 Eucharistic miracles prayerfully gathered by Blessed Carlos Acutis before his death in October 2006. All were verified and approved by the Catholic Church.

 

The exhibit will be open from 7:30 am to noon and 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 10; 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and 5:00 to 6:30 pm on Saturday, May 11; and 9:00 am to 2:30 pm on Sunday, May 12. Please enter through the Parish Office doors to the left of the main church entrance. If you would like to volunteer at the exhibit, there are multiple opportunities available. Holy Family Youth Group moves to Wednesday

Middle and high school students are invited to join the Holy Family Youth Group for great activities this May! On Wednesday, May 8, come to the Holy Family Warming Shelter, 73 E. First St., to help close down the Holy Family Warming Shelter for the season and enjoy Popeyes’ chicken.

 

On Wednesday, May 15, Youth Group will celebrate and crown our Lady as Queen of Heaven and Earth at its May Crowning at Sacred Heart at 6:45 pm. After the crowning, we will enjoy custard!

 

Please note: The Holy Family Youth Group now meets on Wednesdays.

 

 


 

Adoration Opportunities at Holy Family

Seven days a week, you have an opportunity to adore and pray in the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist at Holy Family’s Sacred Heart Adoration Chapel, 200 S. Peters Ave. Open from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm Sunday through Saturday, the Adoration Chapel welcomes all to come pray before the Blessed Sacrament. If you are interested in devoting time weekly to Adoration, visit fonddulac.weadorehim.com to sign up.

 

You can also take part in Adoration from 6:30 to 7:30 pm Wednesdays at Our Risen Savior; 7:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at Sacred Heart; and in Spanish from 7:00 to 8:00 pm on Fridays at St. Mary.

 


 

Registration for Holy Family Vacation Bible School to open Monday

Children entering preschool through sixth grade this fall can go on a castle adventure this summer when Holy Family’s Vacation Bible School returns this August with the theme Kingdom Rock! From August 5-9 at Sacred Heart School, children will journey to a land of castles and knights and princesses as they learn about standing strong in God by finding strength in God’s love, family and friends, prayer, and the Bible. The program will run from 9:00 am to noon Monday through Thursday, and 9:00 am to 12:30 pm on Friday, as children will perform a special show for their friends and families.

 

Registration is $30 per child and includes a t-shirt and CD. Financial aid is available for those in need of it. To register, please visit hffdl.org/cf.
