Explore the power of the Eucharist at Holy Family Lenten Priest Talk Series

 

Fr. Kevin Tanel will offer the last talk in Holy Family’s Lenten Priest Talk Series this Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 at Sacred Heart Church, 200 S. Peters Ave. Join Fr. Kevin as he shares how we can more fully understand the Eucharist in his talk which will focus on chapter 3 of the book “This is My Body: A Call to Eucharistic Revival” by Bishop Robert Barron. You do not need to read the book to attend.

 

 


 

This Saturday is Men of Christ Conference at Holy Family

 

Men! There is still time to sign up to attend the 2024 Men of Christ Conference “Mastering What Matters,” at Holy Family Church, Saturday, March 9. The morning will include well-known speakers, like Kevin O’Brien and Archbishop Listecki, and opportunities for fellowship. Sign-in will begin at 6:30 am, with the Rosary, Mass, and Adoration to follow beginning at 7:00 am. The conference will run from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm.

 

To register, please visit menofchrist.net. The suggested donation to attend is $25 per person to cover the cost of food/materials, but those who cannot pay will not be turned away.

Follow in Jesus’ footsteps at Way of the Cross

Pray on Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross as we retrace His journey to Calvary at Holy Family Catholic Community’s Way of the Cross, taking place every Friday through March 22. Holy Family priests will lead the Way of the Cross at 6:00 pm at Holy Family, 7:00 pm at Our Risen Savior, and in Spanish at 7:00 pm at St. Mary.

 


 

Faith Builders Club for Kids to talk St. Patrick

Kids and their families can learn about St. Patrick while making a cute craft at Holy Family’s Faith Builders Club for Kids. The club will meet for 15 minutes after the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, on Sunday, March 10, and in a special Lenten session, following the 9:00 am Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 200 S. Peters Ave., on Sunday, March 17. All children are welcome!

 


 

Building Your Domestic Church Sessions for Parents to discuss “Devoting your Family to the Trinity”

On Wednesday, March 13, Holy Family’s Building Your Domestic Church Session for Parents will return to Sacred Heart Church, 200 S. Peters Ave., from 6:20 to 7:20 pm. Fr. Pedro will lead this session, which will discuss how you and your family can develop a relationship with each distinct person of the Holy Trinity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! A couple from the parish will also speak. Childcare will be available for children ages 3 and up in the Sacred Heart School Gym for those who need it.

 


 

Presentation to teach us how to emulate Mary’s peaceful example March 22

 

Join Catholic educator and speaker Anne Auger at Holy Family’s “Peace in the Chaos” presentation to explore how we can emulate Mary’s example of peace, and learn how to find peace in the trials we face big and small. The program will take place from 8:15 to 9:30 am Friday, March 22 in the Holy Family South Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way. Children are welcome to attend.

 


 

Altar Server Training coming up on March 23

Holy Family will offer Altar Server Training from 8:00 to 10:00 am on Saturday, March 23 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, for any children in third grade and up who are new to Altar Serving or who need a refresher.

 


 

Holy Family Easter Triduum & Easter Sunday Schedule

As Holy Week fast approaches, Holy Family Catholic Community would like to share with you its schedule for the Easter Triduum and Easter Sunday. The parish hopes you will join Holy Family during this most holy time of year.

 

 


 

Adult Confirmation classes to begin March 20

 

Are you already Baptized, and have received Reconciliation and First Communion in the Catholic Church? Are you wanting to be confirmed in the Catholic faith?

 

Join Holy Family for an eight-week session to learn more about the faith and become Confirmed from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in Holy Family Church’s Fireside Room, 271 Fourth Street Way, Wednesdays running March 20-May 8 (except April 3 & 17). *After completion of the program a date for Confirmation will be scheduled (*while this program is eight weeks, you may not be Confirmed in eight weeks, depending on each individual’s extenuating circumstances).
