In observance of Good Friday, the Holy Family Parish Office will be closed on Friday, March 29 and will return to its normal hours on Monday, April 1.

The Sacred Heart Adoration Chapel will close at 3:00 pm on Holy Thursday so that all can attend Mass/Adoration at Holy Family at 7:00 pm. Following Holy Thursday Mass, there will be adoration with reposition at Holy Family until 6:00 am on Good Friday at Holy Family Church. If you would like to adore during this time, please contact Lisa at (920) 579-2895 or sign up at https://fonddulac.weadorehim.com/.

The Sacred Heart Adoration Chapel will remain closed on Good Friday and Holy Saturday and reopen with regular hours on Easter Sunday. Please let Lisa know if you need a sub, or if you are available to sub by calling (920) 579-2895.

Holy Family will mark Holy Week with its Tenebrae Service on Wednesday, March 27 at Our Risen Savior Church, N6499 Co. Rd. Y, Eldorado. Traditionally held on the Wednesday of Holy Week, this beautiful, holy service calls us into prayer as we listen to readings and candles are gradually extinguished.

As Holy Week fast approaches, Holy Family Catholic Community would like to share with you its schedule for the Easter Triduum and Easter Sunday. The parish hopes you will join Holy Family during this most holy time of year.

Any children in third grade and up who are new to Altar Serving or who need an Altar Serving refresher are welcome to attend Holy Family’s Altar Server Training from 8:00 to 10:00 am on Saturday, March 23 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. This training is for children who would like to serve at any Holy Family parish site.

In honor of Fr. Edward Sippel and his lifelong dedication of service to the Catholic Church and the Fond du Lac area, Holy Family Catholic Community will award two $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school students who, along with their parent(s), have been registered members of Holy Family Catholic Community for at least one year prior to applying for the scholarship. Students must have received the Sacrament of Confirmation to be eligible to apply. Application and materials are due by May 3, 2024. For more information, please visit hffdl.org/scholarship.

All children are invited to have Easter fun at Holy Family’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt following the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, on Easter Sunday, March 31! Children will search the Prayer Garden for hundreds of hidden eggs, and in the event of inclement weather, they will hunt in the Holy Family Hall. Children are welcome to bring their own baskets, but bags will be provided.

This Friday, from 8:15 to 9:30 am in Holy Family South Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, join Catholic educator and speaker Anne Auger at “Peace in the Chaos” as she shares how we can emulate Mary’s example of peace, and learn how to find peace in the trials we face big and small. Children are welcome to attend.
