Holy Family Catholic Community Parish Mission – Begins March 7th

Holy Family is excited to welcome Katie Patrizio this weekend for its Parish Mission “To the Heights.” The Mission will kick off Sunday night (March 7th) at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, and continue on Monday and Tuesday night March 8th and 9th. Patrizio will discuss the Covenants, and how they demonstrate God’s love for us beginning with Adam and Eve, and Noah and the Flood. Facebook Livestream will only be available at the day and time of the Mission. Childcare is available upon request by contacting Sabina at scarter@hffdl.org. Reservations are not required.


Easter Coloring Contest – Entries due March 21st

Holy Family Catholic Community children in grades P3-5 are invited to participate in the parish’s Easter Coloring Contest. Coloring sheets are available at all Holy Family sites and online at hffdl.org/coloring. All entries must be returned to Holy Family Church at Mass, Sacred Heart School Office during Formation class times, or the Parish Office by March 21. Winners will receive an A&W or Gilles gift card.

Buy soup to support Holy Family, FDL homeless shelter

Soups donated from local restaurants will be available for purchase on Saturday, March 13th when Holy Family Catholic Community hosts Soup du Jour at Holy Family and Sacred Heart Churches. The fundraiser will benefit the St. Katharine Drexel Homeless Shelter fundraising campaign co-sponsored by St. Vincent de Paul and Solutions Center, as well as the Holy Family St. Mary’s Outreach Center. 12 oz. containers will be available for $5 following the 4:00 p.m. Masses at Sacred Heart and Holy Family, as well as available for pickup at Holy Family from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

 

Participating restaurants include: BenchWarmers Bar & Grill; Benvenuto’s Italian Grill; Boda’s Restaurant and Catering; Brick House; Downtown Deli, Market, Café; Fat Joe’s Burgers and Brew; Friar Tuck’s; Hotel Retlaw; Pamela’s Bar & Grille; and Top Shelf Sports Bar & Grille.


Moms Group at Holy Family

Moms are invited to come to the Holy Family Moms Group each Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Holy Family Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way. Moms can enjoy fellowship and coffee as children play. 


Holy Family Morning Prayer and Stations of the Cross

Holy Family Catholic Community is offering multiple ways for people to worship during this Lenten Season. 

 

Every Wednesday, join Holy Family Catholic Community in prayer at 8:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church for Lenten Morning Prayer. Prayer is also livestreamed on Facebook for those who cannot attend in person. 

On Fridays, Way of the Cross/Stations of the Cross/Vía Cruces takes place at various Holy Family sites, and is available on Facebook. Times offered are:

  • 6:00 p.m. at Holy Family Church (led by Holy Family priests)
  • 7:00 p.m. in Spanish at St. Mary Church (led by Holy Family priests)
  • 7:30 p.m. at Our Risen Savior (not led by Holy Family priests)
