Blessing of the Candles
Holy Family Catholic Community invites those attending weekend Masses on Saturday and Sunday January 30th and 31st to bring candles from their homes for a blessing. At every Mass, priests will bless the candles, along with the church’s candles.
Cor Jesu this Thursday
Take part in a fierce evening of Mass, Adoration and Confession with Cor Jesu on Thursday, February 4th, at St. Mary Church (59 E. Merrill Avenue).
The night begins with the Rosary at 6:40 p.m., followed by Adoration and Reconciliation at 7:00 p.m. and Mass at 8:00 p.m.
Blessing of the Throats
Holy Family Catholic Community will offer a Blessing of the Throats in honor of the feast day of St. Blaise of Sebaste, the patron saint of throat ailments, on Wednesday, February 3rd.
The blessing will take place following the 12:10 p.m. Mass at St. Mary Church (59 E. Merrill Avenue).

Holy Family Catholic Community will host “Christ and Chaos: Catholic Spirituality in a VUCA World” from 9:00 to 11:30 am on Tuesday, March 2 at Holy Family Church. During the Lenten Morning Reflection with Fr. Edward, participants will discuss and learn how to maintain their Catholic faith in our volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world, also known as VUCA. The reflection will include Mass, a talk on VUCA, personal reflection, small and large group discussion and adoration. Masks and pre-registration are required.
