Join Holy Family Catholic Community for three evenings of prayer and inspiration that will send us forth to proclaim the Good News when you attend “Draw Close to the Lord: A Eucharistic Parish Mission.”
Featuring national Eucharistic preacher and former Holy Family priest and SMSA chaplain, Fr. John LoCoco, the mission will take place Sunday, February 18-Tuesday, February 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. Adoration will take place prior to the mission from 5:30 to 6:15 pm. A livestream will be provided on the Holy Family Catholic Community Facebook page.
On February 27, Holy Family’s Lenten Priest Talk Series, also focused on the gift of the Eucharist, will begin. The talks will discuss the Holy Family Christmas Book Read “This is My Body: A Call to Eucharistic Revival” by Bishop Robert Barron. The talks will last about 30 minutes, with 30 minutes of discussion to follow. You do not need to have read the book to attend.

Pray on Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross as we retrace His journey to Calvary at the Way of the Cross, taking place every Friday through March 22 at Holy Family Catholic Community. The parish’s priests will lead the Way of the Cross at 6:00 pm at Holy Family Church, 7:00 pm at Our Risen Savior Church, and in Spanish at 7:00 pm at St. Mary Church.
Purchase great soups donated by your favorite Fond du Lac restaurants to benefit those in need when you come to Soup du Jour on Saturday, March 2 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. More than a dozen soups will be available for purchase, with the proceeds benefiting the Holyland Food Pantry and Holy Family Warming Shelter. Soups will be available on a first come, first served basis beginning at 1:00 pm in the drive-thru line beneath the canopy entrance on the church’s south side.
Soups will be $6 a cup or three for $15 – no cards accepted. If you are interested in volunteering, Holy Family is looking for people to help scoop and package soup at 1:00 pm in Holy Family Hall on Friday, March 1, as well as volunteers to act as carhops on Saturday, March 2 at 1:00 pm. All men are invited to join the 2024 Men of Christ conference “Mastering What Matters,” at Holy Family Church, Saturday March 9. The morning, which will include virtual and live elements, will feature well-known speakers, Mass, Adoration, Confession, and fellowship. Sign-in will begin at 6:30 am, with the conference starting at 7:00 am. The day will end around 12:45 pm with lunch.

Registration is now open for Holy Family Catholic Community’s trip to the Steubenville-St. Paul Conference taking place July 26-28 in St. Paul, Minnesota. This conference invites high school students to become joyful disciples in Christ through powerful speakers and opportunities for worship and fellowship. Only 20 spots are available for the trip. Enjoy a delicious, gourmet meal & hor d’oeuvres, cocktails, a silent auction teeming with unique items, and beautiful live music when you attend the Celebrate Holy Family Gala on Wednesday, April 17 at Holy Family Church & Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way. The night, which is a significant fundraiser for Holy Family, will also include a special presentation on the power of connection within the parish.

You can help ease financial strain on eight local homeless and crisis programs in Fond du Lac by donating to 101.7/91.9 FM Fond du Lac and FOX 11’s Help for the Homeless Drive taking place February 11-March 3 at Holy Family Catholic Community.
The drive will collect items to serve those in need in our community. Needed items include: bathroom tissue, cleaning supplies, dental care, deodorant, diapers/baby care, face/bath soap, feminine care, hair care, laundry detergent, paper towels, razors, and trash bags. All donations can be dropped off in boxes marked for the drive at any of Holy Family’s churches. Thank you!
Holy Family Catholic Community’s Faith Builders Club for Kids is coming to Sacred Heart Church, 200 S. Peters Ave., for the months of February and March! On the third Sunday of the month – February 18 and March 17 – kids and their parents are invited to join the Faith Builders Club for Kids for 15 minutes after the 9:00 am Mass to learn about different aspects of the Catholic faith and to make a fun craft! This Sunday, the club will discuss the Sacred Heart of Jesus and on March 17, it will discuss St. Patrick.
Tomato, chicken pot pie, and loaded potato soups will be on the menu when you celebrate the important work of Catholic Charities at the Quad-Counties North Lenten Luncheon from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Holy Family Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, on Tuesday, February 27!

Join Holy Family for an eight-week session to learn more about the faith and become Confirmed from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in Holy Family Church’s Fireside Room, 271 Fourth Street Way, Wednesdays running March 20-May 8 (except April 3 & 17). *After completion of the program a date for Confirmation will be scheduled (*while this program is eight weeks, you may not be Confirmed in eight weeks, depending on each individual’s extenuating circumstances).

Children can sing their hearts out and show their love for the Lord when they lead the music at Mass with the Holy Family Children’s Choir! Children in grades 2-8 are invited to join the choir, which rehearses at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, on Thursdays from 4:00 to 4:45 pm through May, and leads the music at Mass once a month. You do not need to register your child for them to participate. Come to rehearsal to receive a schedule. Lights! Camera! Action! We’re excited to roll out the red carpet for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fond du Lac County’s BIGGEST event of the year. Breakfast with Women: Energizing Spirits will be held on March 7, 2024, in downtown’s historic Hotel Retlaw. Check-in and breakfast will be available at 7:30 a.m. The event will start promptly at 8:15 a.m. with presentation, discussion, and panel questions until 9:30, after which, attendees are welcome to stay for continued reflecting and connecting with others in the room until 10:00 a.m.
