Offered on a variety of times and topics, Holy Family’s Small Groups and Bible Studies are here to help you learn more about the Catholic Church and to form community with your fellow parishioners. Our Risen Savior will hold a bake sale and cookie walk on Sunday, December 15, 2024 after the 10:00 am Mass. You can pick and choose which treats you’d like. Plan to fill your pantry with delicious homemade candies, cookies and baked goods, just in time for the holiday season. Proceeds will go to the FDL St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Share the gift of belief with guests of the Holy Family Warming Shelter when you pick up a “Believe” ornament at all churches the weekends of December 14-15/21-22, 2024. Donated by Joe and Dawn Colwin, these ornaments will be available for a freewill donation benefiting the shelter.
Fr. Ryan Pruess will bring the Holy Family Advent Priest Talk Series to a close this Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Holy Family Church when he shares how the Holy Spirit presents itself in the water and Baptism. The talk will be recorded and shared on our website.
You can help save lives in our local area when you donate blood at the Holy Family Blood Drive on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from noon to 5:00 pm in Holy Family Hall. Appointments not required, but appreciated. To make yours, visit tinyurl.com/59adtznt or call 877-232-4376.
On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, step back in time and reenact the journey of the Holy Family seeking a room at the inn in Bethlehem. The event will take place at Sacred Heart School from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. There will be a potluck, candy and a piñata to follow for the children. All are welcome to this bilingual celebration!
As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, priests from throughout the Fond du Lac and Sheboygan area will offer 12 Hours of Reconciliation from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way.
If you are unable to make that time, priests will also hear confessions on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at St. Peter Claver Church, 1439 S. 12th St., Sheboygan. Saturday, December 21, 2024, people of all ages are invited to come to Holy Family Hall following the 4:00 pm Mass to decorate Christmas cookies and watch the classic A Charlie Brown Christmas on the big screen! The event is free and all are welcome.
Young men who want to learn more about the Catholic priesthood are invited to visit Saint Francis de Sales Seminary for an evening of fellowship at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2024. The event will begin with Mass celebrated by Archbishop Listecki and continue with dinner hosted by Fr. Michael Malucha, Vocation Director, and diocesan priests and seminarians. Men are invited to participate in the Jesuit Retreat House’s annual Men’s Retreat taking place January 16-19, 2025 at the Jesuit Retreat house in Oshkosh! The retreat offers an opportunity to take time out to deepen your relationship with God through prayer, stillness, resting, and listening. Fr. Casey Beaumier, S.J., the director for Advanced Jesuit Studies at Boston College, will serve as the retreat’s spiritual director. Deacon Marty Ryan serves as one of the retreat coordinators. Details: Santa and Mrs. Clause will be here make an ornament and decorate two cut our cookies these are both free to do but we will be asking for donations for our Christmas charities While the kids are looking cute and before they get syrup and icing all over themselves feel free to take a picture in our photo area decorated with a Christmas back drop and trees.
