This fall, connect more deeply with your faith by participating in one of Holy Family’s Small Groups or Bible Studies! Learn about the Acts of the Apostles, the Sunday readings, Mysteries of the Rosary, as well as how we can choose Christ in our world, reach our loved ones who have fallen away from the Catholic Church, and strengthen our relationships in Christ! Groups are offered at various days and times throughout the week to accommodate a variety of schedules. Register at hffdl.org/sm.
The Holy Family Christian Women are looking for new members! All women are welcome to join the group, which meets the first Monday of the month from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in Holy Family North Hall. The group meets September to June. If you bring a guest, you will be eligible for a prize. Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 2 and be a potluck dinner. All current members are asked to bring a dish to share.
Raise your voice in song for the Lord by joining one of Holy Family Catholic Communities parish choirs! They have several choirs for you to join including the Holy Family/Sacred Heart Choir, Our Risen Savior Choir, St. Peter Choir, and Children’s Choir (for children of reading age through eighth grade). Choirs rehearse once a week and lead the music at Mass on a regular basis. Children’s Choir will return on Thursday, September 11 and rehearse weekly from 4:00 to 4:45 pm at Holy Family Church. To learn about these choirs, please visit hffdl.org/choir or contact the Parish Office.
This September, Holy Family Catholic Community pastor, Very Rev. Ryan Pruess, will receive the Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s Vatican II Award for Leadership in the Priesthood.
