Faith Builders Club for Kids to learn about Iconography of Our Lady

 

Parents! Your children can get an extra fun faith lesson when you stay after the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, on Sunday, April 14 to join the Faith Builders Club for Kids! This month, children will engage with a short video lesson and make a cute craft to take home, both centered around the Iconography of Our Lady. The club meets for about 15 minutes, and coffee and water will be available for parents in the Fireside Room.

 


 

Help others at April 10th Blood Drive

You can help to save a life when you donate blood! Holy Family will host a blood drive from 12:00 to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 10 at Holy Family Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way.

Celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday with Holy Family

This weekend, come Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, on Sunday, April 7 to celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday, which recognizes Lord’s mercy given to us through the Paschal Mystery of Jesus Christ. The afternoon will include silent adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 2:00 to 3:30 pm, Reconciliation from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:30 pm. Mass will not be part of the celebration. To reduce long lines for Reconciliation, please try to go Reconciliation eight days before or after the feast day.

 

 


 

Presentation to teach us how to emulate Mary’s peaceful example rescheduled for April 26

Holy Family’s “Peace in the Chaos” presentation featuring Catholic educator and speaker, Anne Auger, has been rescheduled for 8:15 to 9:30 am on Friday, April 26. Come to Holy Family South Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, to learn how you can emulate Mary’s example of peace, and find peace in the trials you face big and small. Children are welcome to attend.

 

 


 

Limited spots remain for high school trip to Steubenville-St. Paul Conference

Only a few spots remain for Holy Family’s trip to the Steubenville-St. Paul Conference July 26-28. Steubenville-St. Paul is a weekend conference that evangelizes, equips, and empowers high school youth to become radical, joyful disciples. Spots are available to high school students on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fr. Edward Sippel Scholarship

In honor of Fr. Edward Sippel and his lifelong dedication of service to the Catholic Church and the Fond du Lac area, Holy Family Catholic Community will award two $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school students who, along with their parent(s), have been registered members of Holy Family Catholic Community for at least one year prior to applying for the scholarship. Students must have received the Sacrament of Confirmation to be eligible to apply. Application and materials are due by May 3, 2024. Troops of St. George to host Catapults and Cookout Event

All are invited to join the Troops of Saint George at their Catapults & Cookout Event on Saturday, April 6 at 5:00 pm following the Holy Family 4:00 pm Mass and/or Sunday, April 7 at 11:00 am, following the Holy Family 10:00 am Mass. The event will take place north of the Holy Family Prayer Garden, 271 Fourth Street Way. The exciting line-up for the event will include a burger/brat fry, information about the Troops of St. George, and the catapult competition. Don’t miss out on all the fun. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with our community and the Troop, and have a great time!
