Blessed Bites to move to Tuesdays
Beginning the week of Tuesday, April 6th, Holy Family’s meal-to-go program, Blessed Bites, will move its distribution day from Mondays to Tuesdays at St. Mary Church, 59 E. Merrill Ave. Distribution of meals, canned goods, and cleaning/care items will continue to take place from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. – or until meals are gone.
Divine Mercy Sunday at Holy Family
Join Holy Family Catholic Community in celebrating Divine Mercy Sunday at Holy Family Church beginning with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Reconciliation from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m.. There will be a Divine Mercy Holy Hour from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m., which includes the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Benediction. Mass will not be part of the celebration in English. The Hispanic community’s celebration will begin with the 12:00 pm Mass at Holy Family.
Cor Jesu to take – April 15th
Holy Family Catholic Community’s Cor Jesu—a night of Adoration, Confession, and Mass—will not take place the first Thursday in the month of April as usual, but instead on the third Thursday, April 15th. The night will begin at St. Mary Church, 59 E. Merrill Ave., at 6:40 p.m. with the Rosary, followed by Adoration and Confession at 7:00 p.m., and Mass at 8:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!
Pastoral Council Nominations Sought
Holy Family Catholic Community is seeking nominations of new members to serve on its Pastoral Council. The role of a Pastoral Council member is to work with the pastor and leadership team to ensure that the mission of Christ is being carried out effectively and that the faith needs of the parishioners are being met. Forms are available at all Holy Family Church sites, as well on the Holy Family website. You can nominate yourself or others for the role, but please fill out one sheet per person.
