End of Quarter 1 Grades

The first quarter of the academic year concludes at the end of school on Friday, November 1st.  A “blackout period” for Skyward parent access will begin on November 1, 2019 at 3:30 p.m.  Parent access to Skyward will be refreshed on Friday, November 8th at 7:00 a.m.  At that time, Quarter I grades will be posted in the Skyward system for parents and students to review.

 

What is happening during the blackout period?  Initially, faculty will enter and finalize all Quarter I grades, which are due Monday, November 4th by 11:59 p.m.  Then from November 5th – 7th, Quarter grades are reviewed and verified for accuracy by faculty and administration.

 

It has been a speedy and successful Quarter I.  Thank you for supporting your children and SMSA!

An informational meeting for the 2021 summer trip to Perú will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 6:30 pm in the high school cafeteria.

Pie Supplies Needed for Loaves and Fishes - Needed by November 8th

Student Council will be collecting supplies to make pies for Loaves and Fishes Thanksgiving dinner from Wednesday, October 30 – Friday, November 8, 2019. 

 

Each class will be in charge of collecting different ingredients for the pies:

Freshman: Cherry pie filling

Sophomores: Apple pie filling

Juniors: Blueberry pie filling

Seniors: Frozen deep crust shells

 

Please have your child/ren drop the supplies off at Mrs. Bartel’s room. 

 

Student council will be making the pies after school on Monday, November 24, 2019. Please consider bringing in your classes ingredients to make someone Thanksgiving extra special.

Career Exploration

Agnesian Healthcare Career Events – November 8th

Agnesian Healthcare has upcoming career events on November 8th from noon to 3:00 p.m. in the plaza level conference room at St. Agnes (430 E. Division St). 

Session 1 is on Physical Therapy.

Session 2 is on Psychology, presented by Dr. Matthew Doll.

Session 3 is on Long term care.
