Help us provide meals to children, families with Summer Bites program

This summer, Holy Family needs help to feed children, families, and other individuals in need of a meal through our Summer Bites lunch program. Every Tuesday, from June 9 to August 18, Holy Family will provide hundreds of meals to be distributed at several locations throughout the city. The goal of the program is to reach all who are in need of food, particularly children and families who rely on school meals, by offering free bag lunches at every corner of our community. To provide these meals, the parish needs your help! Over the next few weeks, Holy Family will collect donations of specific items to pack lunches. They will collect the following items on the listed weekends at the Parish Office, 271 Fourth Street Way:

  • May 2-3: Single-serve granola bars, cookies, Graham crackers, and fruit snacks
  • May 9-10: Brown bags and Ziploc sandwich-size bags, and jars of peanut butter and jelly
  • May 16-17: Single-serve chips and crackers
  • May 23-24: Fruit cups, applesauce cups, and boxes of raisins
  • May 30-31: 8 oz. bottles of water and juice boxes

Speaker Al McCauley To Talk About Mary May 6, 2026

On Wednesday, May 6 at 6:30 pm at Sacred Heart Church, join speaker Al McCauley for his presentation “Mary – Our Most Gracious Advocate.” Catholics have a deep love for, and devotion to, Mary, which is often misunderstood. By studying her presence in the Gospels–and through the lens of Catholic art–we can better understand Mary’s role in salvation history and appreciate her advocacy on our behalf.
